Helping Daddy....

I love helping out at home - I help to pick up toys and carry dirty dishes into the kitchen.....today I helped Daddy mow the lawn! I love noisy engines and I was spellbound by the lawn-mower - it was great (and I secretly think Daddy loved having his little son helping).

Santa Claus is coming to town....

My latest favourite thing is Santa! The other day I fell asleep in the car and when I woke up I woke with a startle and yelled "Santa" - I think I must have been dreaming about him!

Mummy and Daddy take me to see him all the time - I'm a little bit scared of him at the moment but I'm getting better - yesterday I even managed a photo with him (once Poppy had sat with me and sung 'round and round the garden' with Santa).

This is what Summer's all about!

Yesterday was really hot and I got to splash in my pool! I spent most of the day running around naked in our backyard and then splashing in my pool. My cousins Sophie and Aimee came over last night and they played in my pool with me too...

Ohhhh TRUCK!

Every Tuesday the garbage man comes and I get so excited! I run to the door yelling "TRUCK, TRUCK" and Mummy and I go outside and watch the garbage man empty the bins. I stand and stare in awe at the big truck and the garbage man waves to me and toots his loud horn - it's the highlight of my week!

It's Nearly Summer

It's nearly Summer and it's getting really hot! I love playing outside - the other day I climbed up to the top of the slippery dip (and gave Mummy the fright of her life) and then slid down all by myself......I'm very independant!!

One of my favourite things at the moment is getting a bucket of water and a few measuring cups and splashing everywhere - I get very wet.

Crit Launch

On Saturday Mummy and Daddy took me to the 2007 Criterium Launch - Auntie Fi and Uncle Scotty are running the crits this year. There were heaps of people dressed up in cycling gear and standing around with their bikes......so I got in on the action too...

Now that it's getting warmer, I play outside all the time - Mummy and Daddy open the back door and I come in and out as I please! Yesterday I went outside and snuck around the side. Look what Mummy and Daddy caught me doing......

Me and my Grandma

I love it when my Grandma comes to visit - she shares her porridge with me and gives me so many cuddles. I play on her bed heaps and she has a special clock with a picture of Grandad in it - she lets me play with this and Mummy and Daddy have heard me say 'Da' (for Grandad) when I open the clock.

Grandma came to visit at the week end and we all went to Floriade together - I was a bit grumpy but Grandma carried me everywhere!

Me and Luka Dee

I had such a fun day today - I played with lots of animals this morning and had a great time chasing ducks and chickens at the Animal Expo and then this afternoon I played at the Hiskins House! Mummy and Daddy relaxed with Nay and Brad while Luka and I had fun swinging together - we laughed so much!

Holiday in Cairns

We've just come back from a week long holiday in Cairns which was great fun! The weather was perfect the whole time - 28 degrees every day. We went swimming heaps in Cairns and I got to play at lots of fun playgrounds - we went to the playground a few nights after dinner and I played with lots of other kids. We also went up to Kuranda - one day on the cable car and train and then another time we drove up to see Bill and Sue - they're the parents of Mummy and Daddy's friends, The Hisko's (Luka's Mummy and Daddy). I spent the day with Bill and Sue while Mummy and Daddy had a day together.......I had so much fun playing with them in their beautiful house in the mountains.....here I am.....these photos were taken on Monday 10 September.

Future Cyclist??

There are lots of cyclists in my family and Mummy and Daddy's circle of friends so it was inevitable that I should end up in the sport as well.......

My friend Cassie went to Mexico with her work and she brought my back my first skin suit - from Lance Armstrong's old team no less!

I wanna be a fireman and drive trucks!

I went to visit my Uncle Scotty at work today and he's a fireman! He took me up into the big truck and I got to play with the steering wheel and press some buttons :)

Babychino's....YUM

Every week, Mummy and I meet Nanny and Poppy at the mall for afternoon tea - Poppy buys me a babychino each week and I love it.....especially the marshmallow! Poppy spoils me lots - he takes me up and down the escalator and if I'm sitting in my pram, I just lift my arms up and he picks me up and carry's me through the mall......much nicer than sitting in my pram!

I can feed myself.....

Mummy and Daddy are ignoring the mess I make and I'm learning how to use a spoon. It's a little bit tricky getting the spoon to my mouth with food still on it but I try my hardest. When I get frustrated I just use my fingers.

Swinging's Fun

My Grandma gave me a swing set for Christmas and I love swinging! Mummy and Daddy attached a baby swing to it and I love to sit and swing....I laugh heaps when I'm swinging (especially when Mummy swings next to me).

I haven't been able to use it much lately because it's been so cold and I've been sick but today is a beautiful sunny day and I had fun :)

Me and Jazzy!

Here's Jazzy and I playing with my bike - I love pushing Jazzy around on it. We're very sad because Jazzy's moving away (with her Mummy and Daddy) but we'll get to have holidays with them.

I love ducks!

Yesterday Mummy and Daddy took me to a 'Family Fun Day' at a new suburb opening near our house. There were baby animals there - goats, rabbits, ducks and chickens and I loved the ducks most of all...they made me laugh. I also got to pat a snake and a turtle - Mummy and Daddy held the snake which was exciting.

Rugged up for Winter!

It's getting cold here in Canberra and Mummy and Daddy rug me up really warm when we go out - this photo was taken on Saturday 2 June - we were going out with Auntie Fi and Scotty to watch Daddy in a Cross Country race....he won the 4km race in a super quick time of 13:05 and I loved cheering for him - Mummy yells "Go Jimmy" and I yell "DAD!"

I'm walking!!

I took my first steps on 11 May (2 days before Daddy predicted I'd walk!) and since then I haven't stopped......I still crawl lots but at home I mostly walk :)

Bathtime love.....

Here I am in the bath with my girlfriend Jazzy! Mummy and Daddy think Jazzy's Mum and Dad (Mark and Paula) are fantastic!!

We had fun in the bath that night - we splashed heaps together and Jazzy even sat in my lap!

My 1st Birthday

I turned 1 year old today....Mummy and Daddy can't believe how quickly the year has gone (and how much fun they've had)!

I got so many cool birthday presents today - a Tonka truck, a Thomas the Tank Engine Sofa, a push along bike thing, a mini lap top, some super trendy clothes, some toy veggies I can cut up, a toy gumball machine...so much fun - I feel very lucky!!

Bath time!

Here I am....nearly 11 months old and being smothered by bubbles. I love having bubbles in my bath - they make me laugh so much.....especially when Mummy and Daddy blow them on me.

I could play in the bath for hours on end - I splash and chew all my bath toys.

I'm on the move.....

I started crawling (commando style) on 23 January and I'm so happy! I can move all around the room to different toys and when I want cuddles from Mummy and Daddy I just crawl over to them. Nanny and Poppy gave me a learning table for Christmas and I've even started pulling myself up on that!

My first girlfriend....

Here I am with my friend Luka Dee...she's 5 weeks younger than me. I go into Daddy's work on Friday's and I always get to play with her. This photo was taken on Friday 5 January - we'd just been feeding the ducks with Luka's big sisters.

I got my first tooth on 23 December and my second a week later - it was pretty exciting for Mummy and Daddy but it made me a bit sad because it hurt.
